In 2019, while waiting in the car during her daughters' tumbling class, Lindsey decided to write a hymn to submit to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the new hymn book. She had never written a hymn before and thought it would be a lovely challenge.

"In the Early Hour", a hymn about spending time in the Lord's presence, has since been performed by church choirs across the states.
